Woking Dance Festival offers a full education and community programme.
Leading up to and during the festival period workshops and residencies take place in primary and secondary schools, colleges and community centres, including a special residency for reception classes and keystage one pupils, workshops for young people with the Henri Oguike Dance Company, women-only Kathak classes and special events for Over 50s groups. CHANCE TO DANCE
Sunday 23 March – all ages welcome
Your chance to spend a day trying out a whole range of dance styles. Professional teachers will put you through your paces! Many of the workshops are linked to professional companies performing in the Festival.

  DANCE SCHOOLS SHOWCASE
Saturday 29 March at 4.30 & 8pm
Over 200 performers from local Dance Schools come together to share their work in this exciting programme of performances.
 

ALLDERS TEA DANCES
In the restaurant upper concourse
Thursday 13 & Thursday 27 March, 2pm – 5pm
Join us for a relaxing afternoon of Ballroom dancing and waltz to your favourite numbers performed live.
NOTE: Only 60 places available for each Tea Dance, so please book early to avoid disappointment. Partners or individuals welcome.
