Drishti is a ravishing re-interpretation of traditional Kathak dance from one of this country’s brightest and inspirational artists.

Offering dance of exquisite grace, intricacy and excitement, Drishti is a programme of solos and duets featuring Curve, Gaze, Whip created by one of the country’s most outstanding
dance-makers, Shobana Jeyasingh; alongside Ayam and Naari, two new works by Sonia Sabri.

For each performance, composer/digital artist John-Marc Gowans generates a dazzling environment for the dancers, translating and amplifying the choreography into a visual and aural landscape that superbly integrates with live and recorded music from composer Sarvar Sabri.
