The Lindenmeyer System takes us on a fast and furious trip into a world of powerful images exploring themes of migration and cultural identity. This is no ordinary dance show, you will be seated on the NVT’s impressive stage, immersed in the throngs of the action, on the move, and gripped by the emotive impact of this incredible work. Punctuated with sharp black humour, the piece graphically illustrates the frustration, fear and vulnerability of finding yourself ‘up against the system’. Super-charged with athleticism, nine powerful dancers are pushed to their physical limits by an authoritative Master of Ceremonies, who commands the action – and the audience – live on stage.
