INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING?  We are looking for volunteers to support Summer Shorts 2013

Volunteers play a vital and distinctive role within Woking Dance Festival. The commitment, enthusiasm and ideas of our volunteers are essential in helping support our small team of paid staff 

Volunteering at our Festival Short events

The majority of volunteers support us before and during Festival Short events through:

• Event Stewarding
• Back Stage Assistants
• Box Office Staff
• Programmes - creating and distributing
• Ensuring people are happily seated
• Collecting feedback & evaulation data

Volunteering with Marketing and Publicity

There are also volunteering opportunities to assist the marketing of Festival events through:

• Social media
• Distribution of print
• Research
• Creating posters and flyers

These jobs are key to helping spreading the word about what we do and a great way to get out and meet people.

Volunteering Community Dance Assistants

This volunteering role will support those interested in teaching either in a school or community setting:

• To support dance artists throughout workshops
• To practically be involved throughout the workshop
• Prepare, disseminate and collect evaluations relating to workshop participants
